As a new academic year begins, students who applied for funding from the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) in the Western Cape will need to go to a new walk-in centre for assistance.
NSFAS has announced the permanent closure of the Wynberg, Cape Town walk-in centre. The centre was officially closed on Friday, 25 February 2022.
A new walk-in centre will open in March 2022, located in the Cape Town Central Business District (CBD).
Further information regarding the move will be communicated on the fund's social media pages.
So Where Does This Leave Funding Applicants?
NSFAS has advised students to make use of their email service should they students need any assistance.
They said, “In the meantime, you can email us at info@nsfas.org.za and include your 13-digit ID number in your enquiry”.
The Fund has apologised for any inconvenience caused to its applicants.
