Postbank has introduced the Mzansi Debit Card, designed to offer affordable banking solutions to all South Africans. This new card is specifically available to those receiving grants from the South African Social Security Agency (Sassa).

Sassa distributes several permanent grants aimed at helping financially vulnerable individuals across the country. These include the Older Persons pension grant, Disability grant, War Veterans grant, Care Dependency grant, Foster Child grant, Child Support grant, Child Support grant Top-Up and Grant-in-aid.

Additionally, Sassa administers the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant, often called the R370 Sassa grant.

Postbank recently announced that the new black Mzansi Debit Card will replace the Sassa gold card, which was previously issued to social grant recipients.
