Youth Ministry as an Inclusive Relational Approach

Ministering to children and young people in the South and southern African societies is a real opportunity. The Youth Ministry as an Inclusive Relational Approach short course equips pastors and other youth leaders to provide an effective ministry to children, teenagers and young adults within the South and southern African context – as part of the local faith community. After completion of the course, successful leaders should be able to understand youth and family ministry.

Interim Ministry

The short course in Interim Ministry provides you as member of the congregation or church council with the necessary know-how to be able to support and “accompany” the congregation when a pastor departs their post. During the ensuing period of vacancy, the congregation should be supported with encouragement and leadership as they come to the realisation that the previous ministry period has come to an end.

A Contextual-Collaborative Approach to Coaching

The short course, A Contextual-Collaborative Approach to Coaching, provides you with a platform to capitalise on your own life and work experiences (and relationships) by developing a local coaching model. To effectively develop such a model, this course will help you develop a sensitivity towards the reality and sense-making structures of those you are coaching, while effectively collaborating on the coachcoached relationship and outcomes.

Enhanced GROW Coaching

The short course in Enhanced GROW Coaching provides you with the knowledge and practical skills to apply the GROW coaching model in executive coaching for leadership, management and teams, performance coaching and the structuring of mentoring conversations. The course looks at coaching approaches that are relevant to organisational and personal settings, but specifically focuses on the topics of meaning, purpose and spirituality (particularly workplace spirituality and cultural sensitivity).

Basic Course in Narrative Coaching

The Narrative Coaching short course is a very practical workshop-orientated approach to learning about Narrative Coaching. It takes you on an experiential journey with a world renowned narrative practitioner. Ample time is given to practice the approach in the classroom environment with real life situations among the learners. This course offers a way to contribute practice hours to one’s own coaching log.

Board of Directors Induction Training

This two-day Board of Directors Induction Training ensures that the directors attain a level of understanding of the business, operations and industry and familiarise themselves with their rights, duties and functions. It further explores the codes of good corporate governance as well as the legislative and regulatory framework guiding the roles and responsibilities of the board and maximises the level and degree of directors’ contribution.

PMP Certification - Online Comprehensive half or full day Class

PMP exam preparation, comprising 9 days of training either 2 full days (8am to 4pm) followed by 14 weekly afternoon sessions, or 2 full consecutive days followed by 7 weekly single day sessions.

Workplace Conflict Management - Johannesburg Facilitated Training

The three-day Workplace Conflict Management training programme was specifically developed to provide individuals with the tools to identify and manage the resolution of personal conflict between persons or parties in the workplace.  On a daily basis, people interact with each other to be able to effectively perform their work and meet their career objectives.  Engaging with individuals or parties can at times become confrontational, but it doesn’t have to.
