With just over one hundred days remaining before the 2024 final matric exams, the Education Department has announced a change to the timetable.

The Department of Basic Education (DBE) has officially released the 2024 October/November final matric exam timetable. This schedule outlines when learners will take their National Senior Certificate (NSC) or Senior Certificate (SC) exams.

The final matric exams will start on Monday, 21 October 2024, and will wrap up during the last week of November 2024.

The 2024 matric timetable introduces some notable changes. Unlike previous years, CAT and IT practicals are scheduled for the first week of the exams, and all official languages will commence with Paper 3.
