The Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) has embarked upon a series of provider capacitation workshops. These have covered the Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Colleges, and are now working through nationwide sessions for private providers of skills development.

The Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) has embarked upon a series of provider capacitation workshops. These have covered the Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Colleges, and are now working through nationwide sessions for private providers of skills development. This article, and the following articles present the series of Powerpoint presentations intended to assist current providers still offering legacy qualifications and new potential providers. 

The first requirement for private training providers is to obtain accreditation to offer QCTO occupational qualifications. The first presentation explains why this is important, and takes potential providers through the requirements to apply for accreditation for qualifications, part-qualifications, and for skills programmes QCTO_Accreditation_Process

The second presentation covers the enrolment of Learners on the QCTO system for qualifications, part-qualifications, and skills programmes; explains why the enrolment is critical, provides details of how to access using the QCTO site, details for negotiating the software, and contact details of QCTO staff able to assist QCTO-Learner-Enrolment
