The 2024 IEB matric exams commenced on Tuesday, 10 September 2024, with the Life Orientation CAT Part B paper. The majority of the exams were conducted throughout October and November. The final exam, Agricultural Management Practice, took place on Thursday, 28 November 2024.
Approximately 13,250 learners registered to sit the 2024 IEB National Senior Certificate exams.

- Automatic Delivery: If you've provided your cellphone number to the IEB, your results will be sent directly to you via SMS.
- Manual Registration:
- Send an SMS to 35135 with the following format:
Results (your examination number) (your DOB yyyymmdd)
- You'll receive a confirmation SMS and your results on the release date.

Your official certificate or statement of results, issued by UMALUSI, will be sent to your school in April 2025.
